Those days of ordering online and making huge hauls in Seoul for my Nature Republic products are now over! If I had known that these stores were going to open after my Korea trip, I would have used my luggage space for other products like THE SAEM, IOPE, SON&PARK, TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL, and others!
I had the opportunity to visit the two new NATURE REPUBLIC locations in Los Angeles, and I can't wait to share my experience with you!
1. NATURE REPUBLIC @ Westfield Santa Anita Mall (400 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007)
This location is open from 11am-7pm or 10am-9pm depending on the mall's hours. The store definitely has an upbeat vibe, is clean, and is laid out in almost the same way as the stores in Korea. Not only that, EXO boys welcome you into the store (I think that's standard for all Nature Republic stores)!
The prices are reasonable, albeit a little more than the prices in Seoul. When I walked into this location, I definitely noticed that the customers were very diverse. Not only that, Nature Republic stores are always heavily staffed just like how they staff the stores in Korea, so there is always someone to help you if you have questions. And a good thing to note - because I absolutely don't like hagglers - Nature Republic affiliates float around but they never push you or make you feel uncomfortable while browsing.
I walked out with a huge shopping bag and a premium gift!
2. NATURE REPUBLIC @ SOLAIR/WILSHIRE&WESTERN (3785 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90010)
YES! THE KOREATOWN LOCATION IS NOW OPEN! They opened last Friday, and goodness, I was so excited when I finally saw the NATURE REPUBLIC sign up front! I've been waiting for this store to open ever since I saw their construction sign!
I absolutely adore this location, which is also laid out like a true Korean Nature Republic store. While the Santa Anita Mall location is already very nice, this location feels more spacious, more casual (kind of gives off the same feel of the Nature Republic stores in Korea), and is easier to find. Koreatown is a tricky place to find parking, but I spoke with the manager to see if there was any kind of parking validation for Solair Retail Parking, and she gave me good news! If you make a purchase at the store, they will give you 4 hours of Solair Retail Parking validation. This means that you could pretty much park at Solair Retail and even walk across the street to Madang Plaza to get School Food, Paris Baguette, THEFACESHOP, or Caffe Bene! But note!!! You must make a purchase to get validation (why wouldn't you, though). The entrance for Solair Retail Parking (make sure to park RETAIL and not RESIDENT), is on Oxford Street by CVS. Also, the store is open 10am-7pm everyday (not sure about holiday hours though)!
The manager was really nice and let me take photos of the inside of the store. The store associates were also very friendly, and I have complete confidence that this store is going to get really popular really fast.
If you visit one of the locations, tag me @vklskin! It would be awesome to see you guys having fun.
Thanks for visiting, and come back again soon!
